The original QuadGuard® features a classic design that typically has six bays containing replaceable, crushable cartridges surrounded by a framework of steel Quad-Beam® Panels. The system meets NCHRP TL1-TL3 requirements as a redirective, non-gating crash cushion that shields hazards and acts as a cushion upon vehicular collision.
All cartridges are replaceable energy-absorbing elements of the QuadGuard II.
High Strength Quad-Beam Panels
Valtir, formerly known as Trinity Highway Products exclusive Quad-BeamTM panels are made from high strength steel that slide over one another in a head on impact. Quad-Beam panels are also designed to redirect vehicles if impacted from the side.
