About Us
Coral Sales was founded in 1979 by Douglas Daniels who combined a love of cars with a Civil Engineering degree from Oregon State University into a career in Transportation Engineering. Doug was presented with the option to purchase the road safety product distribution branch of Coral Corporation in 1979. He immediately saw it as an opportunity to design and maintain a safer driving experience on the nation’s roadways through products designed to improve the chances of surviving an accident.

Leadership
In the course of Doug’s 30+ years of leadership, he and the Coral Sales team introduced many roadway safety products to the NW including the first Impact Attenuators, thousands of miles of guardrail, and break-away sign supports. Seeing the rise of technological solutions in the industry, Doug added Intelligent Transportation Systems to our offerings in 2004.
