Regional Sales Manager / Full-time / Travel Required
About this role:
We are currently seeking to fill the role of Regional Sales Manager. The territory (Oregon, Idaho and Montana) has been well established and is prime for growing with the right person. Compensation includes base salary and commissions.
The primary responsibility of the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is territory management out of our Portland office in a highly interactive team environment, or on the road in a defined geographical territory. Also, as an integral part of a collaborative sales team, RSMs provide functional, technical and consultative leadership in developing and driving sales activities in the assigned territory.

Experience Required:
· 2+ years industrial sales experience required, preferably in the Roadway Safety Industry
· Experience with consultative selling to government agencies and/or construction companies
· Comfortable with learning a large and technical product line
· Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Willingness to travel 60% of the month in assigned territory
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on Business, Engineering, or other technical areas
Knowledge Areas:
· Technical ability or Engineering background
· Territory management and Sales Systems
· Excellent forward planning, reporting and organization skills
· Proficient using a CRM system
· Good command of English
· Strong computer skills
